Eastbank

The Brief
As part of a move to boost its online presence, MSO.net was approached by Eastbank to redesign its website.  An attractive and appealing design would be central to its success and would enable Eastbank to showcase many of its profitable projects within the property investment market.

Background
Based in London, Eastbank is a property investment company with over 40 years of residential property investment experience.  The company specialises in the acquisition and redevelopment of properties in and around the capital.

The Solution
With high expectation for an eye-catching design, MSO.net suggested a 1024 x 768 resolution (as opposed to 800 x 600).  Since the number of 800 users is falling steadily, the larger resolution lent itself to more frames containing different imagery; improved use of navigation and more importantly, enabled MSO.net to incorporate Flash technology which didn't overpower the rest of the site's design.

Many of the pages have been designed and laid out individually whilst sympathetically maintaining the overall branding of the site.  The use of colour is crucial to retaining visitor interest which is illustrated most obviously in the pages: unmodernised property, key personnel and careers.

The Case Studies section in particular, enables Eastbank to upload 5 images on each page which means that all aspects of each property, both internal and external can be displayed to its full advantage.

Result
Nearly every aspect of the website can be updated via an editable applet page, images can be changed, icons uploaded and layouts amended.  The result is a dynamic online brochure complete with downloadable material.
