Henry Kaye

MSO has provided a eCommerce site that is intuitive to use for our customers and for ourselves to manage.  We’re thrilled with the results and the search engine optimisation is genuinely taking the business to another level.

Sharon Gavin
Managing Director, Henry Kaye

The Brief
To build an e-commerce website that is attractive, easy to use and informative.  Emphasis was placed on Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and ensuring that the site returns good results on natural listings.

Background
Henry Kaye has been providing bridesmaid dresses, wedding shoes and a huge variety of wedding accessories to the public for over 20 years.

The Solution
A good-looking website is of no benefit if it performs poorly in search engine results.  If it appears on the second and third page of a search engine result, it is highly unlikely that a searcher will click on that link if a more relevant entry has been found higher up the listing.

With SEO fundamental to the success of the website, MSO.net has ensured that the necessary coding has been implemented to ensure that the site is fully exposed to search engine spiders and robots.

Particular emphasis has been placed on the metatag infrastructure with each page displaying unique title tags as well as the inclusion of a crumb trail.

Supporting the source code is well-written and relevant content which also contains internal links to other parts of the website.  Images have alt text added (short description tags relating to the image) and are hyperlinked to subsequent pages entitled with the same tag.

Result
An online ordering and payment facility built into an attractive website which has already excelled itself in search engine results listings.
