Having been awarded a place at Drama School Marilyn turned down the prospect of fame and fortune to train as an accountant! It was lucky for us that she did, as today Marilyn is responsible for all the day to day financial matters of the Company and enjoys the good relationships she has built with both colleagues and clients.
Marilyn has enjoyed a varied career. After 8 years service with local authorities, she took `time out’ to raise her two children. She then spent several years living and working in New Zealand before heading home to run a successful business consultancy with her husband. She joined mso.net in 2000.
In her spare time, Marilyn uses her honed accountancy skills to support number of local clubs and charities auditing accounts and acting as treasurer where appropriate. Marilyn is also an enthusiastic sailor, spending most holidays afloat somewhere and enjoys nothing more than taking her two grandchildren out on the family boat.
