The Brief To build a website which would act as a Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) educational resource for both health care professionals and interested parties with a separate section for patients.
Background Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) is a serious disease of the arteries connecting the lungs to the heart (the pulmonary arteries). The aim of the website is to explain how Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) develops; describes the symptoms associated with the disease and treatment available.
The Solution MSO.net was presented with a structured brief in relation to the required navigation, straplines and images to be displayed (echoing previously published material). This was interpreted into a sympathetic design with extra background imagery and a new PAH-info.com logo.
The website pages contain detailed diagrams which can be enlarged for easier viewing and in addition, a section entitled Resources Available enables users to download or view a PAH Disease Brochure.
For those visitors to the site who want to receive automatic updates concerning PAH, a dynamic form is available. Users who complete the form will be alerted when new information has been added to the site.
MSO.net was also involved in the Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) of the site. Recommendations were made in relation to the way in which the site was built and content presented. To support the natural listings, a pay-per-click campaign was also managed by MSO.net.
Result A clearly defined website supporting a global marketing campaign. Content can be updated in realtime and as it evolves, the natural listings are returning good results.
