The Brief
To build a dual function website: one for candidates, the other for advertisers.  Candidates would need a website whereby they could easily register and then apply online for their chosen job vacancy.  Advertisers wishing to add vacancies to the site can do so by purchasing credits via online payment and are given complete control of their own accounts.

Background
PayNET recruitment was set up in September 2007 to enable better networking between both candidates and employers/recruitment agencies within the field of retail banking and payment and automatic identification across the world.

The Solution
The first challenge that faced MSO.net was to design a website that would obviously meet the requirements of both candidate and recruiter.  The design had to make the distinction between the two - which was achieved by the use of switching colours and clearly laid out graphics to maintain that division.

The back end of the site required a sophisticated credit system enabling recruiters to purchase batches of credits (one credit per vacancy).  The system automatically updates the remaining number of credits per account and allows for any number of revisions relevant to the specific job.

Another function on the site is a matching facility.  Candidates can choose to take advantage of this benefit and it also ensures that advertisers are reaching the right candidates with the necessary skills (although if they prefer, they do not have to openly advertise).  Having signed up to the matching facility, an email alert is sent out regularly which matches those job descriptions to the candidate profile and enables candidates to contact the advertiser direct.

Advertisers can also sign up to a banner service whereby a purchased banner will link straight to the advertiser's website.  PayNET can design a banner or use a recruiter's existing one with its placement allowed anywhere in the site for a minimum of 3 months.

Result
A complex and highly functional website with the minimum of back end administration required.  It brings two different entities together on one platform and meets their different needs using clear pathways and simple, well laid out instructions.
