Our 21st Birthday!

As it is mso’s 21st birthday we thought what better way for everyone to get the company a little better than sharing 21 facts about mso. How many did you already know?

1. mso stands for Motorsports Online.
2. Our oldest client is The Port of London Authority.
   
3. Over the years we have had 2 office dogs, Poppy and Floyd.
4. The longest standing employee is Andrew Dixon, our technical director who joined back in 2000!
5. Our youngest employee is Bridget who joined the team earlier this year.
6. Between all of our developers 10 million lines of code have been written.
7. The first Friday of every month is pizza Friday in the mso office, where we order copious amounts of pizza for everyone to enjoy.
8. Why is mso orange?  We rebranded mso around 5 years ago and converted the original red to what you now know as the mso orange.
9. mso were the creators of the fantastic product My School Portal back in 2012.
10. The current mso office in Dartford is a converted grain store.
11. mso originally started as ‘Manor Internet’ which was named after the road Paul (our director) lived in.
12. There have been 3 Different mso office locations over the 21 years.
13. As a collective, the team have worked at mso for a huge 130 years and counting!
14. The lowercase ‘m’ in mso is on purpose and is often capitalised wrongly.
15. 3 of our employees are younger than mso!
16. Our director Paul has drunk approximately 30,000 cups of tea since starting the company.
17. One of our developers Ben lives in Sweden.
18. Our director Adrian was originally a client of mso.
19. Over the years we have employed 2 sets of twins and 6 actual twins.
20. The average age of the mso team is 37 years old.
21. We are 21 years old.
