Pennthorpe is a co-educational day school for children aged 2-13, which has occupied its present 25 acre site in the village of Rudgwick for over 50 years.
Pennthorpe asked us to give their website a complete design overhaul and to create an engaging website for prospective parents. The beautiful images and image transitions really grab the user’s attention as soon as they enter the site. The nature of the school is shown by the powerful imagery whilst the straplines to each image convey the Pennthorpe ethos.
The WordPress site structure allows the content on the site to be made up of interchangeable components, which can be used in various different locations throughout the site. The WordPress CMS allows our developers to create and develop an outstanding website, while giving the staff at Pennthorpe access to easily edit the component layout and content.
A key focus for Pennthorpe was the use of the staff bio’s pages ensuring that they functioned with ease making it simple for users to source the information needed. One of the many draws to this site is the use of a full screen navigation. Not only does it look amazing but it create a seamless and easy user journey when navigating throughout the site. Particular attention was paid to the mobile view, responsiveness was a key consideration throughout the project ensuring that the site looks as good on the big screen as it does the small.
Why don’t you pop over to the new Pennthorpe website and have a look for yourself. If you want us to do something as impressive for your own site, please get in touch – we love working on sites that look as good as this one, so why not give us a call.
