The work we have undertaken for Sunways Business Travel has been significant. What began as a website project evolved into a rebranding project once it was established that the timing was perfect to present a new guise for the Company. Looking at the competition we knew that we could deliver something that would make people sit up and notice with the ultimate aim of placing Sunways Business Travel firmly above any other offering on the market today.
The business travel industry is highly competitive. Sunways has been established since 1973 and has built its success on providing expert advice with a personal service whilst being underpinned by the Focus Partnership. This places Sunways within a consortium that can boast to be the largest in the UK and as a result, can pass on real cost savings to its clients.
We provided various logo concepts and once we had whittled the choice down to three, experimented with various options and colour palettes to achieve the desired effect: Sunways Business Travel to be perceived as an assured and proficient travel management company based on years of experience. The colour choice was crucial and had to work both online and offline whilst resonating with its target audience. The darker blue looks stylish and whilst online, the logo itself is in white, on business cards a stylish copper and foil finish has been applied. We’ve also provided marketing material in the form of postcards and ads as well as letterheads and compliment slips.
The website has had the highest care and attention applied to every single page and is not based on a template which gives every page a really unique feeling. We’ve collaborated with the guys at Sunways Business Travel to ensure that content, UX and design work perfectly together to produce a truly enjoyable online experience. With subtle use of parallax scrolling and interactive time zones (city images vary according to the time and location), we’ve also coded an interactive map which zooms in and out to display more information. Further content pages such as the Travel Technology page serve to encourage people to try the Sunways app and find out more about the services on offer.
