My School Portal Ltd is looking for a Developer for our SaaS product

As the developers of a market leading product within the education sector we are looking to grow our team to maintain the products’ quality.

This is a new position within the company and is due to the growth of the core development team, we are now looking to further build our team around great people who are passionate about their work.

We are looking for an individual who can tackle all stages of the development lifecycle – from discussing requirements, planning and design, through to the build and deployment.

We are looking for the following Experience:

  • 1 year+ of commercial experience.
  • High Experience and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  •  Experience front-end Responsive Web Development skills with the use of JavaScript
  • Frameworks i.e. JQuery, React, Ember etc.
  • Experience of Git, Mercurial or similar source control system.

Other skills that would be advantageous but not necessary:

  • Experience of server-side development using Node.js, MySQL, Docker and RESTful web service APIs etc.
  • Experience with unit and integration testing.
  • Experience of Bamboo or similar CI server.
  • Strong organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a determination & drive to hit tight deadlines.
  • Have a hunger to succeed in all the tasks you undertake.
  • Work well as part of a team as well as using your own initiative when needed.

Salary: Negotiable

The role will be based at our office near Dartford, Kent and is a full-time position. Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 17.00. Due to our location, your own transport is essential.
