Digital Account Manager

 

Are you an experienced B2B Digital Account Manager with a great agency background? Do you want to work on some of the most cutting-edge websites with some amazing clients?

mso is a web agency and WordPress specialist based in North Kent but with a client base spread around the UK and now expanding internationally as well. Due to growth with new client wins, we are now looking for an experienced Digital Account Manager to join the friendly team to assist our clients to help them improve their web presence.

As a Digital Account Manager, you should have solid experience with a customer service approach. You should also have a clear idea of how digital tools add value to company strategy and performance. 

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • Project planning and management of timelines, deadlines, and budgets, ensuring we stay on track and deliver on our client commitments
  • Act as the point of contact for clients for digital management matters
  • Build strong, long-term client relationships and maintain frequent contact including via telephone and (when appropriate) face to face meetings with larger clients.
  • Set digital strategies for your assigned customers, considering their specific requirements
  • Business development across our accounts
  • Maintaining and growing our strong customer satisfaction
  • Address client queries effectively and in a timely manner
  • Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

Examples of some of your day to day tasks:

  • Regular liaison with both clients and the mso design and development teams for your on-going projects
  • Raising and managing support tickets with the development team 
  • Raising invoices for work completed as and when required
  • Ensuring all work is completed on schedule, and keeping clients updated on timelines
  • Updating site content as and when required

Who we are on the lookout for:

  • Someone with a proven work experience as a Digital account manager
  • In-depth understanding of online marketing tools
  • Experience with customer service and account management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success
  • A team player who thrives working within a group of like minded people
  • Outgoing, energetic and fun with the ability to bring people together and motivate the team towards our company goals and objectives
  • Willing and open to contributing towards internal and external meetings with key stakeholders

Skills and personal qualities needed to be successful:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Incredibly well organised
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Friendly
  • Hardworking
  • Outgoing
  • Must pay attention to detail
  • Keen to learn and progress

How we will help and what we can provide:

  • Hours of work:  Monday – Friday 08.30 – 17.00
  • Salary for this role according to experience
  • Helping you to gain a wider knowledge of the web industry
  • Providing the opportunity to work with amazing clients
  • Regular opportunities for personal development with a £500 yearly training budget
  • 20 days annual leave + public holidays, rising by 1 day for every 3 years of service upto 25 days
  • All staff currently working remotely from home, and for the right candidate this option could continue post Covid

mso is a website agency that is a specialist in designing, building and supporting websites and online applications on WordPress. Anything from a simple brochure site through to a complex technical solution.

Based in Dartford, Kent, we recently celebrated our 23rd birthday making us relatively old when it comes to website agencies. We like to think this makes us dynamic and adaptable, as the Internet is very different to what it was 23 years ago, and so is mso!
