Junior Business Development Executive

 

This position is ideally suited to a multi-tasker with a can-do attitude, this is an ideal opportunity for an enthusiastic person to work within the digital sector selling a great product to independent schools.

You would be joining a growing company and would be part of the existing sales team, due to the success of My School Portal, we are recruiting for an additional member to join our sales team.

This position exists:

  • To sell an exciting and dynamic product My School Portal (https://www.myschoolportal.co.uk)
  • To communicate with new independent schools and/or existing schools within an agreed territory
  • To achieve agreed sales targets and grow our current school customer base

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  •  Ideally a degree or equivalent with a good standard of Maths and English
  • A good commercial and Internet awareness
  • Good negotiation skills would be an advantage
  • Ability to organise and control your own time and tasks

  • Good communications skills, diplomacy
  • Interpersonal sensitivity, ability to develop client relationships

Location:

  • We are flexible regarding location, you will have the option to be based either in our Kent office or to be based from your home office.

Salary:

  • Competitive plus commission package
  • The position is available immediately and is a permanent role or term time dependent on the candidate

Further Details:

  • Usual working hours are: Monday – Friday, 08.30 – 17.00, but flexibility is required
  • 20 days annual leave + public holidays or proportional dependent on full time or term time (rising after 3 years of service)
  • Own transport essential
