This year the 3rd annual Kent Digital Awards took place on June 1 at the Ashford International Hotel.
But what is the Kent Digital Awards?
The Kent Digital Awards is an awards event in which recognises charities, schools and businesses across Kent for their progressive online work. Accolades across 14 categories including “Website” and “Mobile App” were presented to some amazing organisations within our digital community.
This year we were lucky enough to be nominated as finalists for awards in 4 categories.
This flagship category, takes into account aesthetics, usability, accessibility, content, innovation, frequency of updates, responsiveness, quality of craft and overall website experience. We may be biased, but we believe the Sunways Leisure Travel website has all that and more!
Our second finalist for the Kent Digital Awards 2017 was… MOBILE APP: PLA Tidal Thames App
The Mobile App category is open to a huge range of entries – games, educational resources, business tools, health trackers and more so there was some fierce competition out there. But we’re incredibly proud of the PLA Tidal Thames app and we wanted to shout about it from the rooftops, so we were ecstatic to be a finalist this year.
Our third and fourth finalist for the Kent Digital Awards 2017 is… WEBSITE: SCHOOL, EDUCATION OR CHARITY: Rugby School and Christs’ Hospital
We couldn’t choose between either of these stunning school website designs, so we entered them both and are over the moon that they have both been selected as finalists in their category.
Our fifth finalist for the Kent Digital Awards 2017 is… WEBSITE: TOURISM AND HOSPITALITY: Sunways Leisure Travel
The second nomination for Sunways Leisure Travel! This far-reaching category was open to restaurants, hotels, tourist spots, events and the like, and judges were looking for strong content and imagery to evoke a true sense of the site’s subject matter.
We’re very happy to announce that we had a very successful Kent Digital Awards this year, scooping 2 silver and a bronze award.
