My first month at mso

My first day at mso digital agency was on Monday 25th July 2016. I had just finished sitting my A Levels weeks before; at A Level I took Photography, Product Design as well as ICT. When the chance arose to become an apprentice at a Digital Agency I thought that all my Christmases had come at once, as it meant applying all the subjects I had learnt at school to the real world.

Sixth Form was a step up from school and it definitely helped me mature and become a much more confident person. As well as giving me more experience as to how things would work in the real world, which I can start applying to my work here as mso.

I was really exited to start on my first day, but like many things, I had first day nerves, not quite knowing what to expect or whether the role would suit me, whether I would be good enough, as I had never had a full time job like this before. As soon as I started and sat at my desk I was instantly relived and became more relaxed as I was introduced to all the team. Everyone that I spoke to was really welcoming and helpful. When initially starting new jobs there was a lot of getting to know the software that I would be using and lots of information which was hard to take in at first but as soon as I started applying it to the work that I was doing it became a lot clearer and everything started to fall into place. With each new piece of technology and information that was introduced to me I began to feel more comfortable. I soon realised that it would work out because everything I was being told was relevant to help me excel in the work that I was doing.

Throughout the on-going weeks I have became more settled and realised that if I had any problems or questions everyone around was happy to help me find a solution or answer to the problem. The work that I am doing is new and exciting to me, and I am always learning something, this is a great method of keeping me motivated. The office has such a relaxed atmosphere and although I have only been here a short time and I already feel like part of the mso team.
