2016 had been a great year for us, so what better than to share some of great project wins we’ve had this year! Our education team has been working hard to build its portfolio and that hard work has certainly paid off.
The ethos at Rugby is that the whole person is the whole point, which is undeniably the message that we wanted to communicate with the new website. Powerful imagery is really at the forefront of this site and truly encapsulates the warmth and the strong sense of community that comes with being part of the Rugby family. You cannot help but be immersed by the drone footage featured on the home page. Additionally a carousel of images provides the backdrop for a small cross-section of Rugby’s many glowing reviews and achievements. Not only does the site look stunning, it also has to appeal to an international audience. We therefore strived to make the user journey as seamless as possible, by ensuring the signposting; key areas and calls to action are clear and concise.
Our team loved working on this project and we are very proud of what has been achieved with the site. Take a look and let us know what you think!
The first thing people say when they look at Bede’s Summer School’s website is a resounding ‘wow….’ and it’s easy to see why.
With drone footage encapsulating the fantastic locations of the Summer School centres, no wonder people are extolling the virtues of the website. Our design team loved working on this project since as they’ve been able to showcase both design and front end capability with UX at the forefront.
At every stage in the process (design, development, testing, post-project support), mso have been a delight to work with – not only are they technically very advanced, but they have shown a great understanding of our target audience, industry and operating environment – in short, they understand schools. – Steve Wood, Principal of Bede’s Summer School.
Christ’s Hospital is a unique and special independent school that goes by the motto ‘A school like no other.’ It was therefore very important that the website replicated the School in terms of individuality and exceptionality. As soon as a visitor lands on the homepage, the first thing they will see is Christ’s Hospital’s tradition, a school steeped in history with a forward thinking attitude and modern outlook. The homepage is made up of interactive media panels which host video, dates, news, booking options and highlight a carousel of pupil testimonials to convey the unique personality of the school.
The website holds a great amount of information therefore signposting various routes to pages and destinations as clearly as possible was integral to the site ensuring that users find their chosen page in as few a clicks as possible.
A real winner for us this year has been our School Portal . This school communications platform allows parents secure access (with just one login) to their child’s details, bookings and MIS data. For parents this improves the method of communication with the school whilst offering real money savings for the school administrative team.
For more information on the portal, please give us a call and speak to either Adrian Brown or Sarah Lyons. We can arrange a demo to show you how the system could benefit both your school and your parents experience.
