Rose Hill School is an independent preparatory school, founded in 1832 in Royal Tunbridge Wells. We were asked to give their website a complete design overhaul including a new logo to bring their online presence in alignment with their high standing in the education sector. They also wanted to manage their own content which they can do through our Mosaic Content Management System (CMS).
An important function of the new website is to allow the publication of targeted content. Parents, pupils and staff can log in to a secure area to view restricted information, which the school has published using the CMS.
The website also features a Sports Team Manager, a popular mso module that lets parents login to view information on the sports matches their children are playing in, along with team details and kit lists. Data is pulled directly from the school’s Engage Management Information System (MIS) so there is no need for school staff to duplicate data entry.
As well as on-the-page content and images, a widget manager allows the school to add new pieces of content, such as a new prospectus, and choose the order in which they are displayed.
We are also pleased to announce that Rose Hill School is a 2014 winner for the IMA’s Outstanding Achievement Award. The Interactive Media Awards recognises those sites rich in web design and development and we’re very delighted to have won it.
