After over six months of planning and development, we’re really excited to announce a new section of the Port of London Authority’s website (pla.co.uk) – the Media Centre. It was a real team effort; together with the Port of London Authority, we devised and built the information hub that now exists.
Previously, the site held a plethora of media that had been deployed across many sections of the website. The new hub would be home to news, video, publications and other relevant documents and work as a way to encourage visitors to drill down further to information of interest.
Top of the agenda was to ensure that the area was easy to navigate and entice users to keep searching and learning about all areas of the PLA. Now that the Media Centre has gone live, we will continue to monitor its traffic and see where further areas of improvement can be made paying particular attention to the user experience.
