Technology Talks Networking event 17th June 2014

For our very first Technology Talks networking event on the subject of Social Media for Business, our guest speakers Katie King of Zoodikers and Thomas Power of Scredible, discussed why it’s so important for a company to include a social media strategy into the marketing mix.

We filled the conference room at the Port of London Authority in Gravesend with business owners and decision makers, keen to pick up hints and tips on how to take advantage of social media. We gave everyone a chance to mingle and have some welcome drinks before we kicked off the evening.

Our very own Adrian Brown gathered everyone to share his views on web technology today, giving a short introduction into mso’s history. He highlighted how the motoring world communicates internally, and how social media for many industries is the way forward. The guest speakers, Katie King and Thomas Power, are well-known and respected advocates of social media. Katie is often heard on national radio and is the Managing Director of Zoodikers. She’s regarded an expert in the social media arena and Thomas is the Managing Director of Scredible. Thomas boasts an impressive client portfolio, he is a social media trainer advising clients on how to look good online using LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
