With less than a month to go until the Wirehive 100 Awards we thought we would update you on what’s happening this year.
Wirehive 100 is an annual awards ceremony that celebrates the innovative digital talent in the South of England. Wirehive first came up with the idea to throw a big awards doo when it was realised that agencies from outside of London were not getting the recognition that they deserved. The awards highlights that you don’t have to be working in the big smoke to be a successful digital agency.
We are finalist in three categories for the 2016 awards:
Agency Site of the year – mso
Digital innovation – mso, My School Portal
Techie of the Year – Simon Hooker
We’re finalists in the Agency Site of the Year category for our very own site, mso.net! We want to lead by example; our site is a reflection of ourselves as well as the work that we can produce for our clients. We strive to put our mark on the ever-changing digital world. We are very lucky to have a great team of people who have the drive and determination to deliver exceptional websites and share the same vision to create the best work possible for our customers.
We are also finalists in the Digital Innovation category for the My School Portal Product. My School Portal is a platform that keeps everyone in touch and makes communication between parents and the school far less stressful. It is a secure platform that allows for two-way communication between the school and parents which can be accessed anywhere, any time, any place. My School Portal is the perfect channel of communication posting the latest child information, booking and event details. All information relevant to a student can be viewed in a personal dashboard with filters that can be applied to make the content relevant and tailored to you.
Finally Simon Hooker, who is a finalist for Techie of the Year category. Simon lives and breathes all that is code and we’re very lucky to have him as the Head of Product Development team at mso. Simon has been with mso for just under 10 years and in that time has worked on a number of large-scale product developments. My School Portal can attribute its success to Simon’s expertise and is very much a product of Simon’s vision, passion and hard work.
The winners will be announced on Thursday 13th October, Good Luck to all the finalists from everyone at mso!
