Wirehive 100 awards

Aerial acrobatics, a mime artist and a theatre… it could only be the Wirehive awards 2015.

With it being mso’s first time attending the Wirehive 100 awards evening hosted for the fourth consecutive year at Guildford’s G Live theatre, we really didn’t know what to expect. It’s safe to say we got more than we bargained for with the ‘Night at the Theatre’ themed event.

From the prosecco drinks reception that kicked off the evening’s festivities to the delicious dinner, the whole event was well organised by our brilliant host. The entertainment on the night really was the star of the show, a masterpiece of gravity defying aerial acrobatics on hoops and silks; a mime artist and an eye watering acrobatic baton light display.

We entered the category, ‘Best Use of Tech’ awards with our Parent Portal product, Stryver, mso’s parent/teacher communications. We were proud finalists of the category and although we didn’t win – big congratulations go to worthy winners, Redweb for their innovative smartphone modification, UV Blaze – we were delighted to be announced as runner up.
